<p>I fear that I will be unemployable and jobless after college graduation.</p>
<p>Does anyone else feel the same? I don't have marketable degrees. I'm only majoring in them becuase they interest me and I do well in them.</p>
<p>Welcome to my world brother. I went into CIS about Spring semester 2000, right at the height of the tech boom. I have been looking for six months now and can't find a job to save my ass. I have only been on one interview in six months!</p>

<p>My brother felt like that. He searched for a job for about a year before he found one. He has a chemical engineering degree. He started searching early in the fall semester of his senior year and didn't find a job until the following September. So even marketable degrees can lead to hard job searches. I, on the other hand, have been fortunate. I wil l graduate in May (mechanical engineering) and have already accepted a job offer. I had five interviews, one rejection, one offer, and the rest of the companies moved advanced me to the second interview phases but haven't sent updates yet.</p>
