If anyone else is submitting a slideroom fine arts portfolio, I could use their help. There is room for a 1000 character description, are you using all of this space? I just wrote a sentence about each piece, thinking that admissions are not going to want to read that much for each piece, but I'm second guessing myself.

Anyone else know?

Thanks!

Yes, a sentence is fine. It’s an art portfolio, after all, not another essay. I just wrote a couple sentence for each of mine, briefly describing the pictures and videos, just so the readers have some context.

Thanks! That’s reassuring… also, do you happen to know why you can submit your art supplement and common app separately (like the deadlines are a month apart)? Does that just mean the art will not be considered when decided whether I should be admitted?

lol i just put medium: ___ year:___
I didn’t even write a sentence description. Do you think it’s bad ?
I didn’t think they’d read too much into it ?
Also I think theyre just giving us time idk to be honest I’m just submitting everything on the same day so I can stop worrying about it
