slightest chance at Wash U?

obsessed with both NYU and Oberlin, if anyone would like to comment on my chances at either school, that would be phenomenal (also like Washington U. in St. Louis, Wesleyan, Vassar, Tulane, Skidmore..any thoughts?)

junior at 2nd best public high school in my state
GPA (weighted): 4.2 (significant upward trend throughout highschool....3.98 frosh year, 3.98 soph year, 4.65 so far for junior year)...however 4.2 is out of 5.0 scale (ifhonors are taken) therefore a 4.2 = approx. a B+ average on an honors scale
SAT I's: have yet to take the march exams, expecting 700's-720's in writing and verbal, 650-700 in math
SAT II's: Literature (700) - plan to retake, Math (expecting a 650-700), Biology (expecting a 700-760)
honor roll every term of every year
Ap's - junior year: Bio, so far have an A- in the course
taking next year: AP Psych, Ap Calc (AB)

sorry i know my information has been long, i could really use your help if you have the time

i'm tired of this kind of thread.
can't u compare urs to others and determine ur chance?
that's how people will tell you anyway.
cuz this is such a typical thread.
i'm sure most people will say "oh yea u got pretty good ecs, u have good chance but
no one can guarantee what happens."
or u just want people to read your ecs?

actually other people reading my EC's will give me no personal satisfaction since no one knows who i am. your right, i can read other people's and compare mine to them, and then formulate an opion as to whether or not i have a chance. However, that would only be determing the opinion of myself, and since colleges are weird and randomly accept the kid with the 3.2 over the 3.8, you can never get a close enough prediction, especially on your own. by posting my qualifications on this website i'm getting a wider range of opionions and hopefully a more accurate idea of my chances, not to mention some people on this website might actually know what their talking about when it comes to college admissions (unlike myself). so if your tired of this thread, then don't read it, i wasnt asking for your specific opinion anyways...

Yeah Morgan....you go girl!

morgan, I think your ecs are excellent. Your grade and sat stuff may be a bit low for the school but I'm not part of the adcom admissions so who knows? Anyways I'd say you have MORE than 50% of getting in. good luck
