Slightly weak Teacher rating?

My teachers are writing their letters of recommendation for me and I’m a little concerned about one of them. I’m asking my physics teacher and biology teacher for references on the commonapp. My physics teacher knows me incredibly well inside and outside of lessons and has written me an heartfelt and incredible reference. For the teacher evaluation section of the common app, my physics teacher ranked me ‘One of the top in his career’ in every section except 2, in which he rated me ‘outstanding’. He rated me ‘One of the top in his career’ overall and his letter truly reflects that.

However, my biology teacher rated me differently and knows me well in class but not outside. In the 16 rating criteria of the common app, my biology teacher me as ‘One of the top in his career’ in 9 of those section, ‘outstanding’ in 4 of those sections and ‘Excellent (top 10%)’ in 2 sections (in Leadership and self-confidence). This teacher rated me as ‘One of the top in his career’ overall, but I was wondering whether the rating of ‘excellent’ in 2 of those sections will work against me?

I might be stressing about this too much but it would be great to have a second opinion. Thanks!

^Target schools are HYPSM

If those are your targets, you should know that most of them like to see one letter from a STEM teacher and another from a humanities teacher.

Did you waive your right to see the recs? Sounds as if you did not.

@Lindagaf I am international and come from a different education system, consequently that means I only take STEM based subjects in the 11th and 12th grade equivalent here. However I did take humanities in 9th and 10th grade so would it be worth asking those teachers for a rec. even though they have/will not be teaching me in 11th or 12th grade?

@GnocchiB I didn’t see this on the common app, instead my teacher showed me a copy of what they filled out for me
