Ok, guys! I got some flippy-floppies for the shower (communal) and they have hardly any "grips" on the bottom so they're kinda slippery. I'm worried that in the shower I might slip. Is there anything I can put on the bottom of my flip-flops to make them "grippier?"

Just buy new flip flops geez. I got mines at the 99 cent store and they’re still useful after a year.

I got a super cheap pair from Walmart and they were fine.

I agree with people who say buy a new pair. They’re not super expensive, and it’s a whole lot easier than making slippery shoes not slippery.

I got one of those 1 dollar pairs from old navy two years ago to only wear in the shower, and they still work like a charm. So just buy a new pair.

In case everyone so far hasn’t convinced you to buy a new pair, I’m going to tell you a story. I was at Disney earlier this summer with two friends. One of them had a pair of flip flops that had no grip, but she refused to pay the ridiculously high Disney prices for a new pair. One day, it was raining and we wanted to take the bus back to our hotel. The bus was about to leave so we ran for it, and as soon as my friend reached the bus, her shoes slid under her and she fell onto the bus, getting a pretty serious scrape down her leg in the process. If you don’t believe me, PM diana2012 and ask her how she got what we refer to as “the gray thing”. If you want to avoid injury, just pay the $2 for a new pair of shoes.

buy a new pair. you will spend a couple of dollars. dont be a scrooge

I just had some from Target last year and they were fine for communal dorm showers. They didn’t really have much for grip things either and were fine.

haha ok guys :)
