SLO vs UCI

So I was admitted into SLO as a Business Administration major. I got rejected from UCI's Paul Merage School of Business, but got in as a Business and Information Management (BIM) major.

I am currently undecided as to where to go.
Any pros/cons of each?

You need to find out what a “Business and Information Management” major actually consists of and then determine if there are actually jobs out there for people who graduate with this kind of degree. The safer bet would probably be Business Administration at Cal Poly SLO.

Agreed. Look at their respective career fairs. You can get a good idea of which school has better recruiting for business. It’s very important. It’s not perfect but better than choosing a program without this knowledge.

" Potential careers for BIM majors include:

becoming a business risk analyst, identifying ways to reduce a client’s dependency on seasonal e-commerce traffic.
serving as a program manager, leading a team in creating incentive and loyalty programs, so companies can get better business data. "
