Sloan Undergrad

I found out MIT has an undergrad business school just like UPENN :)

At UPENN, people apply to UPENN CAS (I will call it "college") and Wharton separately.

College has a slightly higher acceptance rate than Wharton does.

How does admissions process work at MIT?
Can people apply to Sloan separately, or do you have to get into MIT in general and major does not affect your admissions?

I am decent at science(AP science good, but not MIT good), good with math (AMC12-AIME-USAMO), interested in economics/finance. I can tolerate MIT core science programs and will absolutely love MIT math programs.

Also, UPENN has this one university policy so that Wharton students can major in Finance in Wharton and Economics in college. (an economics and finance double major with a strong math background is as good as it gets in ibanking :P)

Can I still double major in economics and finance at MIT college and Sloan?

P.S. oh, Sloan is also definitely one of my top choices for MBA (if i need one) along with Chicago Booth. (HBS/SBS are always the cough impossible reaches in MBA schools :( )

Thank You!

The latter – everybody applies to MIT as a whole, and your intended major does not affect your chances of admission.

Yes, you can double in Economics and Management (or Management and anything else at MIT).
