Okay so I’m a high school junior and Saint Louis University is my safety school if I don’t get into WashU (and tbh maybe even if I do). I’ve just kind of been assuming I’ll get in no problem but I’d like another opinion to make sure I’m not overconfident. I took the ACT in February and got a 31 (35 E, 28 M, 25 R, 36 S), and I just took it again today, and I think my score will go up (hopefully without that low reading grade weighing me down). My essay scores are not great so I’ll just leave those out. My gpa is at/slightly above average (3.4/3.65), which is I think the 75th percentile at my school. I’m hoping to pull this up a little at the end of this semester.
I don’t have many ECs but I do work seasonally at 6 flags stl (this is my second season) where I am currently a ride lead at the Mr. Freeze. Just to be clear, I am in charge of a roller coaster. I may be bragging a bit.
I don’t have any recs but I could probably get one from a supervisor or two at work, my guidance counselor, and maybe a couple teachers.
