D21 is starting to look at schools. She wants a friendly, mid-sized school in an urban environment but with lots of green spaces. Her college choices will mostly be Tuition Exchange schools but will consider schools that offer decent merit (she goes to an all-girls Catholic college prep and has a 4.32 uw gpa, scored a 30 on her first ACT try but will take it again and has lots of ECs that are important to her. She’s not sure of a major yet but is considering Theater Tech, Speech-Path, Psych, and Linguistics, SLU has made the radar and she’s just now exploring it. I see SLU has the Theater, Speech-Path and Psych options. How are they? I know SLU isn’t considered a theater school but is the program ok? How hard is it to get into the Speech-Path program? Does the Psych program offer a lot of research/internship options?
