Small FAFSA question.

First of all, my FAFSA disappeared; when I try to log on, it says that I've left it alone for too long (45 days, blah blah) even though I remember logging on about a week or two ago. No matter. I would like to start a new one, but would that mean reapplying for a PIN, and waiting again for my dad to get his PIN so he can have access/input his info? I hope not, but I can't retrieve my old PIN either, and it doesn't seem to be working either way.

Btw, what year do I choose again? 05-06 or 06-07?

Your old PIN should be fine, as you can use those numbers year after year. You want to apply for the 06-07 year, as that is the next academic year, the year for which you need aid.

If you are having problems, call the help number given. I had to call once, and they were very helpful.

Don't confuse your PIN with your Password. PIN is for signing the document after you're done. Password is to get into the document you're working on.

You need to write down your password to retreive the doc you're working on, or to get last years to work from as a reapplication. Otherwise you have to start from scratch.

You use the same PIN numbers for you and your Dad that you got last year when you appled for them.
