This summer i will be interning at a upcoming small hedgefund company. Do you think it will look good on my resume since it is new and no one knows about it?

Depends entirely on the nature of the work you will be tasked with at your internship. Most (good) hiring managers know to look past the name of the firm and to focus on your work experience. Small firms often offer a far greater breadth of projects and responsibilities. Of course, if you’re going to be doing basic admin (data entry, etc), it won’t matter whether you’re at a no name hedge fund or a large investment bank. Show initiative, ask good questions, and try to get tasked with interesting and challenging projects. The quality of your work experience, not the quality of a company name, will make all the difference in the job market.

Thanks…BUMP
