What Are My Chances?
Vassar ED
Oberlin
Carleton
Bates
Grinnell
Macalester
Tufts

anyone there who can help?

The fact that you are male will be very helpful at some of the colleges that have trouble attracting men. I would look at the common data sets for these schools.
If your class rank is high and you can raise your sats, you have a decent chance at all of these schools. If not, I would say Bates, Grinell and Macalester. Tell us more about what you are looking for in a school.

do you mean that those are matches and the rest are reach?

Vassar would be a match ED....as would Mac, Grinnell, & Oberlin.

Yes, sorry if it was not clear.

With those stats (SATs, ACT) Tufts would be a reach.

Should I bother sending in my ACT scores?

Nope, don't send ACT scores.

It looks good that you've taken two different languages (French and Latin.) It shows that you're actually interested in expanding your knowledge, rather than just the typical (at my school, at least) attitude of "I've already fulfilled my foreign language credits so I might as well not take any more."

Your gpa is strong, also, which demonstrates a good work ethic far more than high SAT scores.

OMG! I went to NSLC this summer too in the medical program. I hope you get into all the colleges you want to go to!!

Hey that's awesome. Where was your program held?

and thank you!

Ok so I just realized that the Vassar supplement asks for close relatives who went there...

So if my aunt went to Vassar does that make me a legacy?

Are my chances better?

from everything i have heard, yes, it does.
oh, god, vassar looks like such an amazing school.
more girls apply there than boys, which also give you an advantage - you know, being a boy and all.

Might want to look at Colgate and Holy Cross-both have strong crew teams. HC also has very good Classics/Latin major.

Thank you but unfortunately (well maybe it's not such a bad thing) I've become too big (not fat just taller and more filled-out) to be a college coxswain. I'm not big enough/I'm too lazy to row.

Just say you’re going to be a classics major (even though you’re not) and you’re in!
that’s what i plan on doing, in fact it’s what my teacher said to do because even they think they’re getting a classic student, they’ll look at you again :)
