Small Mistake at College Event?

I recently attended a small college event at my school, and the college representatives handed everyone a card to fill out personal information and intended field of study. For the latter, I put down "international relations", but I just found out that this school does not have an international relations major available. Will the admissions officers present at the meeting take this as a sign that I am not a good fit for the school? Or was the card they handed out just a means of getting people's emails? Am I overreacting, or did I just hurt my chances? Thanks!

well, if you want to major in IR and they don’t offer IR, you won’t be going there anyway, will you?

Well, undergraduate major doesn’t really matter much in the grand scheme of things. But it doesn’t matter. It’s just so that they can spam your email with emails related to your major. They will just spam you with general info now lol.
