<p>On Part 1 of the application, I think I was off by about 1 year on my mother's college graduation date, and my dad isn't even sure what year he graduated. Also, I accidentally put the date of separation rather than the divorce date. Do things like this matter much? Should I send an email correcting this? I've already sent in a lot of extra stuff, heh, i'm worried about bugging the admissions people with too much... but if it's necessary to fix these I can do it... Do you think possible mistakes of 1 year are a big deal?</p>
<p>To be safe, send an email to explain the situation. I am sure the people at MIT are too nice to mind if you send them one more email.</p>
<p>Mistakes like that won't make a difference (I know because I made similar ones). Just send an e-mail, they'll staple it to your app, and go on with their lives. It won't affect your admission decision.</p>
