Small question abaout AP awards.

On the College Board website, it says this:

National AP Scholar

Granted to students in the United States who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams.

Does it mean ALL exams taken by the student, or when they mean "exam," do they mean the actual subject?

For instance...I received a 3 on the AP English Language exam this year...if I retake it and get a 5, will it count as two exams taken, or still one exam...?

counts as one exam

Since AP English is still AP English the second time you take it, it’s one exam.
