smaller boarding schools

Echoing what @BlairParent said, yet in the reverse! We started off looking only at bigger schools, but somewhere along the way my DD ended up at a small school - Cate (which she LOVES). There are many arguments pros/cons for larger vs. smaller schools, but I agree that it ends up being about fit. So don’t get too hung up on the size and maybe more options will be available to you. I think that Pomfret, Millbrook, St. Mark’s are all good suggestions. Brooks? Loomis? Repeating 10th grade is a good suggestion. Maybe call a couple of these schools and see what they say? Don’t be afraid to ask questions about entry year, academic support, etc. etc. etc.
