Smaller classes at Rutgers possible?

Rutgers University New Brunswick Campus is one of the colleges I'm transferring to after 1 or 2 years at County College of Morris. I enjoy small classes at CCM but I'm worried that if I transfer to Rutgers as a sophomore or junior, I feel I might be put in a large lecture hall. I want to be part of a big university but I want to have all small classes like maximum of 30 students in a classroom. Is there anyway that I could be put in a small class at Rutgers?

No. That’s what you get at Rutgers.

I go to a school with almost 40,000 undergrads and three of my classes, out of five have a max of 13 people. My smallest has like 11 now, I believe. So it’s possible at a large school. I am a sophomore right now.

Some classes you can’t escape large lectures so you have to deal with it.

Well, the huge lectures are usually for intro level classes anyway, so if you’ve fulfilled those requirements you might be able to skip most of them. My freshman and sophomore classes had over 100 (occasionally over 300) people in one class, while my senior level classes have from 4-15 students in them. You’ll still likely end up in some very large class though, it just comes with the territory of going to a large state school.

Small classes at Rutgers is not available in any shape, size, or form.

Especially size.
