<p>If you like football, school spirit, alumni and students joining for tailgating, rah rah rah and you are looking at small schools, seriously, check out Mount Union in Alliance, OH. Its close to Cleveland - particularly close to the Akron/Canton airport - and it is a DIII football powerhouse. It is almost unbelievable how much school spirit they pack into a DIII school. A number of the academic programs are there excellent. The campus is lovely as well.</p>

<p>Butler and Wabash are well known for school spirit.</p>
<p>Yea Holy Cross is in the Big East for basketball</p>
<p>Last year Holy Cross was the only team to beat Harvard in football. Except for Holy Cross, Harvard would have been undefeated last year.</p>
