<p>For CMU;</p>
<p>GPA: might be OK depending on rigor of your classes (APs?)
ACT: too low-the ACT scores listed at the bottom of the above-mentioned table are school-wide and not reflective of the score required to be a viable candidate for SCS.
SAT II: you would need to take Math II and Physics and score well into 700s.</p>
<p>What does everyone think of Georgia Tech?</p>
<p>DS and I very impressed with CS at Georgia Tech. The course offerings are extensive and the administration has given much thought to organizing them into different tracks of study depending on your interests. Research, coop, GT seems to have it all.</p>
<p>Note that GT has a very early application date for Early Action (non-binding). Last year it was October 15th.</p>
