Tell me everything you know about the business school(preferably people in it). Is it hard to get a job? Do a lot of companies recruit there? List the good and the bad of the program. Also, does anyone know the employment statistics for undergrads? The Smeal site really tells me nothing about the undergrad program.

haha..maybe i'll see you all at one of those schools..but i think maryland is my top choice by far. it would be interesting to meet some of the ppl from college confidential at umd lol

can anyone tell me when the next visitation date is for the sapphire program?? I was scheduled to visit on the 31st and couldn't make it. I have emailed someone for the answer but I need it quick.

Thanks melon390. I know someone at UP who started last summer and wants to transfer into accounting. I'm pretty sure he has >3.2, but has a withdrawl on his record. Would that be a problem?

Smeal seems to be a very very good business school on the rise. They have the newest and largest building on the campus. They were just ranked #20 in us news. Each program is more and more competitive and you need at least a 3.3 just to get into the finance major.

What struck me most about the business school was job placement. It was extremely impressive. They have a huge career fair and the biggest dues paying alumni group in the country.

PSU business seems like its very good at helping students get a job. Which in the end, is really important.

again :D, i know some people are in sapphire,
