On the application portal it says “f you applied for financial aid, you can check the status of your award at 5pm on January 28 by logging into Net Partner” so maybe that implies that decisions will be released on the 28th? Or at least by the 28th. Meaning 1 MORE WEEK!!
That what i said
I am dying istg…
Anuways if anyone figured how to log into bannerweb tell me?
I think banner web is the same as the application portal! Send them an email explaining the error it shows you and I’m sure they will send you clear instructions
Sent bunch of them but no reply they must be busy
I called admissions this morning and they confirmed that EDII decisions will be released at 5pm Eastern Time on Monday, January 28th!!
Will we be able to see the decision on the Admissions Checklist Portal (https://apply.smith.edu/apply/status)? Or is there someplace else we need to check?
Normally yes
Good luck today, EDII applicants!
I GOT IN!!!
ED II decisions are out. My daughter got in. Best of luck to all the hopefuls.
Cant open it am too scared!
I got in as well!! Does anyone know if there’s is an FB thing for accepted students?? Congrats to everyone who also got in!!!
Congratulations, my daughter will be applying next year. Would anyone be willing to write their stats? Merit money?
Yes there is a Facebook group. Smith College Class of 2023. Congrats to all
I received an e-mail today claiming that my complete file has been reviewed and I can see my Financial Aid through Net Partner today (applied RD). Certainly I was not expecting it because I applied just two weeks ago. Unfortunately there is no update on my portal. What does this mean?? I am sure it was a mistake but did it happen to anyone else here?
@rocioarg I got the email too but we’ve to wait until March 22nd
// Thank you for applying to Smith College as a 2019 First Year RD applicant!
Please refer to the checklist to ensure all required materials have been received by Smith. Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for submitted materials to display on the checklist.
If you applied for financial aid, you can check the status of your award at 5pm on March 22 by logging into Net Partner. Student Financial Services has sent you separate emails with instructions on how to log into Net Partner. Please contact their office with questions. //
That’s what their portal says. The email probably means that your financial aid has been reviewed and completed… nothing else. Now we have to wait.
@bookboozer the e-mail I received actually said that my financial aid was available now. I e-mailed them and they told me it was a mistake, so indeed we will have to wait until March 22nd
Yep I got an email saying the same. But I figured what they meant was that it was reviewed. I’m glad it’s cleared up.
Something in today’s mail for my daughter from Smith. Does anyone know whether Smith does likely letters?
This is the right week for early writes (basically a likely letter).
