A little worried that my second SAT was lower than first attempt. Goal was to increase my math score and that did happen.
Smith’s SAT average is 1410, so even if we superscore you (which Smith does), your SATs are 1340, which is low for Smith. Because of that, and your ECs, I’d say Smith is probably a low reach for you.
Smith’s average SAT is greatly inflated because 46% of the students who matriculated didn’t submit SAT scores.
ACT scores were submitted by 26%, but some percentage of the 26% also submitted SAT scores.
A 1340 SAT score is not low for Smith. It’s well within the mid 50% of those who submitted scores
Looking at Smith’s Common Data Set https://www.smith.edu/ir/docs/Smith_College_CDS_2015-2016_Complete_5-16-2016.pdf most matriculating applicants who submitted SATS had a math score similar to OPs, and OP has a slight edge on reading. So maybe Smith is more of a Target school than I originally thought.
