<p>Actually, Smith does a nice bit of finesse: D got a letter talking about her STRIDE several days before she got her admissions letter. It was like getting a “likely” letter from Wellesley only with some $$$ attached and could have been titled “an even more likely” letter. A way for Smith to work the system to get students to choose them.</p>

<p>Rocket6louise, my daughter got her STRIDE notification March 15 last year (we live in Massachusetts), so the wait hopefully won’t be too long!</p>

<p>I can only add to the comments all the alums have made. I’ll be on campus for my 25th reunion in May. Can’t believe how fast the time has gone. I also can’t believe how excited I am to be in a community of brilliant, accomplished women again for four days straight! Enjoy every minute of the challenges in an out of the classroom. Enjoy the beautiful houses and the wonderful food. Challenge each other to think differently and often. Use the network…we all love to share our experiences and journeys with you.</p>

<p>When is the RD notification date?</p>
<p>kiterunner, you’ll find out by April 1. Most years, a few weeks before April 1 they send an email telling you how to check your admission status online shortly before then - I think the date is usually a Friday in mid-to-late March.</p>
