RD acceptance rate dropped from 29.4% to 28.3%.
RD yield rate dropped from 24.1% to 22.2%.
SAT reporting dropped from 50% to 43%; ACT from 36% to 30%. On the face of it, 25th-75th ranges moved up, but calculating the number of applicants who fell in each score bucket, it looks like applicants with scores below the mean were just less likely to report. Test-optional really makes it hard to gauge where an applicant falls in the pool; it’s possible (although unlikely) that only 43% of applicants reported scores at all. For comparison, among test-mandatory schools, percent with SAT plus percent with ACT is as high as 143%, so there can be a significant number who report both and are counted in both categories.
Average GPA went from 3.84 (47.1% reporting) to 3.98 (63.6% reporting)! Class rank percentiles shifted upward quite a bit, too (from 35% reporting to 38% reporting).
