Smith College Class of 2020 EDII Discussion

Yes, @ib8403 I’m anxiously waiting and am soooo nervous, especially for the FA. It would suck to get in but then be disappointed by the amount of FA. That’s the thing I’m most worried about.

hey u guys! decisions r coming out on Jan 26th at 6 EST. I got an email from Smith saying this.

@hellokitty679 yeah, I got that too. Dang it, I was soooo hoping decisions will be out on Monday. A day longer seems too much now, lol

@plathandric ya thats exactly what i was thinking. but it won’t be too bad for me, because i’ll check it at 3 PST. this still sucks though

Hours to go, you guys! Best of luck to you and please share your decisions ASAP!
Is it bad that I’m expecting a rejection/deferral though

@crystallistic nope! If you go back to EDI discussion thread you can see me prepare for rejection, and I got in! Good luck to everyone!
Also, if you really can’t wait any longer, start checking about 2 hours before. They released ours an hour and a half early but didn’t tell us that.

Good luck girls! No matter what the decision is I think we have tons of accomplishments to be proud of already and that, if not Smith, we will end up somewhere else just as great! Keeping my fingers crossed now!

omgg so nervous u guys. and yes, plz post as soon as u check so others can see if it came early for them as well. just making sure, we are supposed to get our FA package as well right?

Yes, it will be in your financial aid tab.

Where on the bannerweb will it say if im accepted or denied?

Guys decisions are out! I cannot believe it, I am a Smithie now!!!

omg so happy for u! still have to check

Congratulations, @plathandric, I’m so happy for you! Please share your stats with us
Thanks @collegebnd16 but I really do believe my chances are slim. I’ll wait until later to check my decision. Wouldn’t want it to ruin my day!

rejected :frowning:

OH MY GOD YOU GUYS I’M IN!!! I can’t believe this. Just finished screaming my lungs out at school with my girlfriend. The (tentative) financial aid package is huge - I knew Smith was generous but definitely not to this extent, especially for someone with my background.
Best of luck to the rest of you guys. You’ll end up somewhere good.

Still waiting list :frowning:
