I could not find a regular decision thread for Smith College so I decided to create one. Good luck to all applicants.
Do you know when the RD decisions are out, and how they are sent? Email, letter, portal?
I think they come out on the portal on Friday. At least from what I’ve researched.
I belong to a Smith College Parent’s page. Someone posted it will be this Friday. ED1 decisions came out on the portal. My daughter was told the decisions come out at 6 pm. They came out at 4pm. I had popped onto this site to find the ED1 thread and seniors were already sharing their results. Good Luck!

No clue- hadn’t even noticed that.
My mistake folks. I had not even realized there was a separate area for each college. I will request for the moderator to move it under Smith College.
@violetbee thank you for the information and now I will check out the Smith Parent page. My D is awaiting her decision… anxiously.
My daughter had some anxious weeks leading up to the ED announcements. Once you know if she has been accepted there is a class of 2021 Facebook page for the students. There is also an unofficial parents page on Facebook “Smith College Parents and Families”. It has been a very helpful place for me to ask all of my questions. Good luck!
Thanks for mentioning the parents group Violetbee! Once your daughters get their admission decision(favorable that is)request to join the closed group. There is also a group run by the college which is a page you can “like.” Once you send in the request watch for a return message in your “other” folder. I am the founder of the group which I started in 2011 and it now has nearly 800 members. Good luck to all the applicants and their families. 
really want to get into smith after getting rejected by wellesley and bryn mawr and being waitlisted at barnard. i got into holyoke thankfully but i’d really like to add smith to my options.
After getting waitlisted at Bryn Mawr, I really started to lose hope for Smith. We’ll see what happens, it isn’t long now! I also got into MHC (and will likely attend if I don’t get into Smith)
Folks, check your portal. Decisions are out. There is a tiny link to decisions so look careful.
@Bossf51 I see the Smith Parents and Families that anyone can “like,” but I don’t see the closed group. My D received an early write and I’d like to join. Is it called something different than the public page? Thanks!
Again…waitlisted…just as I was at Bryn Mawr. I was hoping for something otherwise.

accepted! i was an early write. i’m low income and what they gave was SUPER generous! (way more generous than holyoke).
@abundantbananas My D was an early write too. Did you just see your aid today for the first time? I don’t see a link to the aid package.
@smcirish it should be in the award information on the very first page.
