@mathgeek19 Smith hosts an Admitted Students Weekend in April, which some ED students attend if there is space.
@pearlyouth Smith does send physical letters. If I remember right from last year, they tried to time them so they arrive on the same day as the decisions go up on the portal. Some, especially international, arrived early. Most arrived the day of or after.
I got an email finally with info about admission decisions. Anyone else?
@Maddy428 Me too! So excited!
@Maddy428 I got it! I can’t wait!
same
Hello, my friend received an email invitation for Web chat with current Smith students tonight. Did anyone who applied ED receive this email? BTW she is an international student.
i did. @Joyolaw I also received an email from the financial aid office about when we’re getting our decisions back.
So anyone who applied ED received the chat invitation?
I did too so I am assuming that we are all on the same mailing list.
I received the same email.
Good luck to all of you tomorrow!
I am applying as a Spring 2019 transfer. I had called and they said discussions would be out tomorrow (12/14) but I didn’t receive an email that others are talking about. I know things might be different between ED and transfers but I just get nervous that my app isn’t right, however I do have access to Portal online
I’m so nervous even though I’ve convinced myself that I wont get in
Me too. I probably won’t be able to sleep ? it’s 1 AM here right now.
At what time will the decisions be released according to the email?
I am pretty sure I won’t get in either…The time depends on where you live. For me they come out by 3pm (california) but the official time is 5pm EST
@cocopdx I also applied as a transfer and I didn’t get anything either! I think you’re fine
4 more hours!
Good luck to all applicants! Parents, if your child is admitted, please consider the “Smith College Parents and Families” on FB. It’s a closed group and not for the students! It has over 1,000 members and is a great resource.
