Smith ED1 Admission Chances

Hello, everyone! I'm new to this site, so I hope I'm not making an aberrant request. If anyone could please evaluate my stats and tell me if I have a good chance of getting into Smith Early Decision, I'd be very greatful. Thank you!

Additional information:

I got a D and F in an honors math course one year; I retook the course and got As both semesters. I mentioned this in my interview as being an obstacle I had to overcome that taught me a lot about motivation and perserverance.
Smith called my counselor and asked if I could provide any additional information about my grade; I mentioned that having it so early in the morning made it difficult to concentrate. I think the fact that they called is a good sign.

My area of greatest passion is English; I would like to pursue it as my major. I would like to minor, perhaps, in music; I sent Smith a good recording of my violin playing.

Thank you so much for any help you can give me!

Narquelion, there's no way any of us can determine your chance of being accepted ED at Smith since we:

Don't have your entire application

Aren't admissions officers

However, I would say that your As speak volumes about your "new" work ethic. Smith's admissions officers are exceptional at looking at the whole package, so, if your grades are generally high and your scores are good, then they will look at those low grades as an aberration.

We could certainly give you our humble opinion however, but we do need some info: SAT scores, SAT II's, AP courses taken, extracurriculars, yada, yada, yada. Be glad to give my opinion, but I need more info.
