<p>I've seen several people on Wisc Facebook mention that Smith hall is being reserved for upperclassman. Is this true? If so, that really blows...</p>
<p>i dun think so smith all is only for upperclassmen.! btw i have heard only 20% of all univ students stay in univ dorms? does tht mean getting your preferred dorm is easy?</p>
<p>I think Smith may go to the athletes as it is close to the facilities. At least thats what I was told by an athlete attending next year.</p>
<p>Ok, I contacted the housing office myself, and this is what I got...</p>
<p>"It is not true that Smith will be reserved for upperclassmen. It is true that we have already placed some returning residents into Smith, but we have still reserved 65% of the space in Smith for incoming students. It will be somewhat difficult to get into, but that is only because so many incoming students have it rated as their number one choice."</p>
