Hi, I applied into the Smith school of business, and I was just wondering how competitive it is for undergraduates. I'm not asking anybody to chance me, because that would just cause me to stress out even more, I'm just wondering how many students apply into it, and how many students actually get accepted into it. Also if I do not get accepted into it as a freshman, is there anyway I can get into it as a junior? Thanks in advance guys.

Hello Silentkink,

Based on the website below,
A mean SAT of 1350/1600 was reported, while a minimum of 1300/1600 is needed.

Total undergraduate business applicants: 5,768
Percentage of applicants admitted: 22 %

Hope this helps. I think these numbers are from the admitted class 2 years ago (2015).

You can definitely apply as a Junior. 3.0 GPA minimum (3.5+ strongly recommended though) with work experience and extra curricular’s also considered.
