Got into Syracuse’s prestigious Newhouse with no financial aid or scholarship- a car ride away
Got into Richmond with no financial aid or scholarship- a car ride away
Got into SMU with 23 thousand dollar scholarship- Dallas is a plane ride away
Please help any insight is appreciated
Which one did you like the best when you visited? Can your family afford the schools that didn’t offer aid?
I liked SMU and Richmond the best when I visited, worried about the small size of Richmond though. Yes- my family could technically afford the others but it would make money tight. Wondering if there’s a big difference in prestige and what not between SMU and Richmond and Newhouse?
Consider where you want to live afterward. If you want to live in Dallas, then SMU is a no-brainer, esp considering the scholly…SMU alums rule the city and Cox is very well respected, esp in TX…
SMU makes sense. I heard the alumni are very good at helping each other find jobs. The campus is supposed to be beautiful and most importantly think of all the money your family will save. Also, flights to Dallas are pretty cheap. GL
