SMU Scholarship Chances!? Please help!

I absolutely love SMU but the hefty pricetag is a killer! Cox School of Business is my dream school but I would need substantial merit scholarships (I wouldn't be eligible for financial aid) to attend the school.

With my stats listed below, how much do you think I could receive? If the total price
is around 55k a year, do you think it is possible to get scholarship money around 25k a year with my current stats?

Any advice would be great!!! Thank you! :))

*Projected

Founders Scholarship of about $15,000
Maybe a Cox for another $5000.
Second Century is $20,000 but will require a higher ACT so that with a Cox you could reach the $25,000.
There is also the highly competitive Hunt. Do not forget to apply for smaller local scholarships. These can help as well.

Thank you for your quick reply!! Would an ACT of a 32 or maybe 33 be required for the Second Century scholarship? I feel like I’m an a dead zone with a 31 ACT. It’s good but not good enough?

Your ACT score is great you are in the top 3%. A 32 ACT seems to put you in the next tier however at many schools. For example, Alabama you get free tuition. Just google 32 ACT out of state or merit scholarships and you will see a pop. It puts you in the top 2% vs the top 3%.
Best of luck to you and please consider the local scholarships. Start investigating now it will make a difference.

Thank you!!
