I was wondering if there are diversity in smu sororities (black, hispanic, asian, etc). I’m going to apply in the fall and Greek life is something I want to experience.
I doubt it. Look at the webpages.
But is SMU very diverse? There can’t be more diversity in the sororities than in the entire school.
Thank you so much
I know they have at least two historically black sororities - Delta Sigma Theta and Alpha Kappa Alpha. There are also a couple of historically black fraternities. I believe there is a hispanic sorority, as well. I don’t think there is a lot of diversity within sororities, though.
There is not alot of diversity at SMU period. The fraternities and sororities reflect this fact. SMU is a great school but diversity is not one of it’s hallmarks.
Will say diversity is continuing to increase though and as it does more diversity in the sororities as well. Happened from my freshman year to senior year.
That’s good. When did you graduate ?
