I’ve recently applied to SMU last week and I wanted to see what would my chances be of getting in with a 2.6 GPA. The past 2 prior universities I’ve attended (In 2016 and 2017), I earned a 3.5 at one school, and a 3.05 at the other one. These are the most recent universities that were actually accredited and counted towards my “real” GPA and credit count. The first university I attended back in 2014 wasn’t accredited which led me to withdraw and of course my GPA was low at that school due to my grades not actually counting in regards to being transferable. So although the initial college I attended wasn’t accredited, would SMU count that school towards my GPA although they don’t truly count? And if so, would a 2.6 be a good chance to get in?
Thanks!
