<p>I have no school today!!!</p>
<p>I'm so relieved; I needed a chance to sleep in. I woke up at 11:30.</p>
<p>I was happy to see snow! But about the snow day....I was already on a week winter break from school, so I wouldn't have had school anyway.</p>
<p>Why can't it snow this big when we ACTUALLY have school ???!! :(</p>
<p>What state do you live in? Did it hit really hard over there?</p>
<p>Snow day here too :) We had one yesterday too...
About 1-2" sleet and maybe .25" freezing rain. That's enough to shut down everything here...not like Buffalo or something, where 3 feet of snow is nothing.</p>

<p>I'm also on winter break, and so far we've got 3-4 inches of snow..Hopefully it'll end by tomorrow, because tomorrow's Traina scholars day at Clark U!</p>

<p>Lol, i'm on a February week long break too, so this snow day didn't affect me at all.</p>
<p>I just wished the snow had come a few days later as to extend my vacation.</p>
<p>Me too...but there's no snow...supposedly there was 'freezing rain'. I swear that is the most ambiguous term in the meterological dictionary.</p>
<p>We had an early release, the third one this year! We've had four snow days and three late starts too so far, pretty decent I'd say. We haven't had a full week of school since before Thanksgiving! And we have vacation this next week!</p>
<p>we had our first snow day (northern VA for the lose), except they're never gonna give us one again because it's totally dry and non-icy out now.</p>

<p>Same here. We should have had one yesterday, too...getting to school was pretty dicey, even for my 10-minute drive. But I'll take a three-day week!</p>
<p>sometimes freezing rain actually hurts when it falls on you. It feels like needles :P</p>
<p>every school district near me had its schools closed/opened late today... except for my school district... darn you, PSD!</p>
<p>All the schools near my school district were closed, so my sister got a snow day.</p>
<p>My school is still on winter break, though, so it didn't make a difference to me, though it was nice to have snow.</p>
