about 23 inches of snow here, still gotta go to classes though

we got 12+ inches here. anyone around the boston area know of closings yet?

Twenty-three inches and still school....that sucks. I heard New York had to worst blizzard in their history this weekend :(.

Wimps... :-P

straight from my local site:

"County Public Schools are closed tomorrow, Monday, February 13, due to emergency weather conditions. All school and community activities in school buildings also are canceled. All administrative offices are open. " :-D

Haha :D....our website says the exact same thing....hmm .

as of 10:30 this morning we were only 3.6 inches from the record; it snowed pretty much straight until 4 pm, so i wouldn't be surprised if we beat the record

our mayor is evil and likes to see us suffer (NYC)... so there's school tomorrow

no school tomorrow for me- i just found out! :) as a senior, i want to have as many snow days as possible because we don't have to make them up in the end. =)

Haha....same here Squiggles :).

ilovemath314159

maybe, but look at some statistics and see how many students rely on those meals each day and the number of student who dont have heat at home.

not everybody is as lucky as you.

Theres a big difference from a school in the suburbs that everybodys family makes 50+K a year,

Move into the inner city, many people barly make over 15k a year. I went to Lehman HS in the bronx, we were handed out data sheets, 52% of the school, was students who only got 2 meals a day and they were at school. and 39% of the school didnt have heat at home.

so think before you speak

ok then ub-vinny77........ sorry

(btw i was kidding about the Mayor is Evil thing... i just didnt want to study for the 2 quizzes i have tomorrow)

UB-Vinny77... no need to rain on thie snowday parade.

ilovemath... think before you speak :-P

haha we had only ABOUT 6in. (def less than 10) and there's no school! :D

No school tomorrow, but it was a half day anyway. I love my county when it comes to closings, and I love my school for never making up snow days.

We had about 16-18 inches on the grass...12-14 on the roads this morning.

mont. county? i thought our half day's in two weeks? lol. it was definitely not 16-18 inch. that's way too much haha

No....Montgomery County was definitally over 12 inches at least.

carpe, I go to Georgetown Prep (we follow the county for closings) - we had a half day scheduled for tomorrow for some acreditedation thing.

It was nice, we managed to have our winter comedy today (last night got cancelled), so I got to see my the last show for some of my friends. It was funny. I got a text during intermission saying that school was cancelled, and my day was complete.

the magic words Viola!
