Snow Day

This may be a dumb question, but do Princeton students ever get snow days?

This is a question for fscottie!

yes, but only very rarely.

Aren't almost all the buildings connected underground?

yes, but by steam tunnels, not public passageways.

While we're on the topic of snow, how much snow is there at Princeton?

It depends on the year, and it doesn't necessarily reflect the intensity of the winter. While there's only a dusting on the ground right now, it's absolutely miserably cold. The most I can recollect is a storm of about 30"; the least is an almost snow-free winter. Since the Nude Olympics have been banned, it matters a lot less.

Tis a sad day when "Nude Olympics" and "Banned" are in the same sentence.
