As in, I've got one! Thanks to that system that gave us some sleet right around the morning rush hour. Anyone else happy w/ snow day?

Same! And perfect timing too b/c I didn't finish my hw for the weekend b/c I was busy finishing up some apps. I love snow!

I've got one too! (Surprise, surprise.)

Sad thing is, though, I left some cultures in the incubator for my microbio class, and because of the weekend and the snow day, I'm worried they'll have grown too much to be useful by the time I get back to class. facepalm Darm you, bacteria, for ruining a perfectly blissful snow day!

Yesssss snow day! We got lucky here and got enough snow to mess up the roads and no sleet or anything, so it's perfect for snowboarding! I'm so happy!

lucky duckies!
we didn't =(
but i'm sick anyways, haha.

Psh, I got two fire days down here in California. When I lived in Illinois I got one snow day and it was pretty chill. Any kind of day where you get off school unexpectedly beats a normal day off by a lot.

We didn't today, but we have a really good chance for one tomorrow...cross your fingers!

^ kat, is NY in for a snowstorm eagerly checks weather.com I have two big english tests this week so I wouldn't mind having another day to study

I'm in Central NY and we're supposed to get hit pretty hard, 5-10 inches overnight and 10-14 by Tuesday night. We already had all our after-school activities canceled today, so I'm really hoping we get a snow day tomorrow! I think if you're in the area that's getting hit, you'd know it by now.

i love snowstorms in texas...wait we only get 1'' a year if we're lucky...crap.

damn packs up belongings and goes to central NY

i'm right across manhattan. i was so excited yesterday morning when i heard a shoveling sound outside my house. my dad jokingly told me that we'll have 8 inches of snow later. so i got all hyped up and i checked weather.com (my fave site in the snow season). what a disappointment!

by today, all the snow melted... :(
it's suppose to snow tonight and 2moro and wed as well. but so far i saw "flurries" as forecasts....not good. crosses finger

I live in Colorado... We probably have less snow days than Texas, haha. Stupid CDOT!

Hoping for Wednesday!

we had a delay...****

yea well it was in the 70s yesterday in dallas, its a bit colder now...in the 50s/

Wow...it IS December....lol, but it feels so early in the year for snow days! I live in Missouri...I hope that we get at least one snow day before winter break!

*** i'm in East Mass and we didn't get anything, not even a 2 hour delay!!

In Minnesota we got 8 inches of snow...on Saturday (but the same storm you are all talking about).

Not that we would have had a snow day anyways (because it takes a lot more than that for my school to have a snow day), but it's always more pleasant at school when it's snowing heavily.

Snow day for goddamn sleet? Uck, bull. I got a foot of snow and -10 temps and got nothing. Last year we didn't even get one for 2 feet of snow.

Ugh, everybody got snow north and south of us. We got ice and wind!!!! So freaking cold, but no snowday.
