Okay, I live on a college campus and we had our first snow. My friends that live on campus (though most of us are still high schoolers) enjoyed the snow goofing around in between classes. However, the majority of the typical college students looked at us like we were nuts.
One of the main reasons I really like Chicago is because it's quirky. What do the Chicago students do when the first snow comes.
Are people thought of as crazy for playing in the snow, or is it that there's just absolutely no time to goof around because of the crazy workload?

Or are students too mature to make fools of themselves?

not too mature to make fools of ourselves playing in the snow...although i'm sure that there were maybe one or two people on campus who didn't engage in the snowball fights all the houses were having... it was a blast

this is great to hear. I haven't seen any of the students having fun in the snow except for students in the program that I'm in. I just got back from our midnight snow football game.
