Snow in Houston!

Just heard from my son at Rice a couple of hours ago -- he said it was snowing in Houston!! I didn't know that it ever got cold enough to snow there. Unfortunately for him, he's coming home tonight (to Florida) for vacation so he's going to miss the snowfall.

Yes -- believe it or not! And it was 77 degrees yesterday.

wow that is ridiculous. I just checked the forecast. It is supposed to be 60 tomorrow and 70 on Saturday. Weird weather lol

It's really cold/snowing in Oklahoma too haha.

This is Texas. Two days ago I was complaining about how freezing it was, yesterday it was so hot and humid that I sweat more on my way BACK from the gym than I did while working out, and today it's snowing. ****ing crazy...you just kind of have to humor the weather.

Dropped from around low 70's to high 20's / low 30's in DFW . Really sucks :(

Umm, yeah, I didn't appreciate the snow at all. Boooooooooo.

What, the snow is amazing! We were singing Christmas carols and had a snowball fight in the Will Rice/Sid/Lovett parking lots. Someone even built a mini snowman. It was a nice surprise today after getting caught in the rain for the 3rd time in 2 days. I'll take a nice little dusting over cold rain.

DD is very upset. She came home Tuesday. Missed the snow that was here last weekend and missed the snow there yesterday. Saw pictures of her friends with snowballs and she likes a little snow each year (but not much hence Houston for school). Missed it last year too.

Patsmom, about 4 years ago it snowed on Christmas Eve! :)

It snowed here in south Florida once in the '70s but if you blinked, you missed it. It looked like ash floating in the air and it melted as soon as it hit the ground. But it was way cool for us Floridians!

Snow in Houston on Christmas Eve must have been fantastic :)

The snow was amazing!!! One of the best evenings I've had here.
