Snow Shoveling and Traffic

When there's heavy snow, when (how early) is Main Street shoveled? And what about St. Patrick's church?
And does anyone know anything about Rt. 2? How many lanes? Especially from Williamstown to Troy, NY. What's the speed limit? Curvy or generally straight lanes?

THANKS!

The snow is shovelled nearly instantly in Williamstown, both on campus by B&G and by the town. The local schools hardly ever have snow days - the roads are always clear unless it's a 3 foot blizzard (and even then the roads are cleared really quickly - they are good at this!)

What about St. Patrick's Church? Williams students do attend services here.

Route 2 is a two line highway.

Rt 2 from Williamstown to Troy is a winding highway. The speed limit varies on the route - 45 to 55. There is a part in the mountains that is pretty curvy.

2 lines? 2 in each direction or one in each direction?

Is the parking lot in St. Patrick's shoveled? How early coz I will park there. Also, how early are the streets cleared? I might leave at 4:30 AM.

thx

sorry - 2 LANES - one in each direction.

Like anywhere else in the snowy northeast, the snow plows work 24 hours. The Williamstown crews just are particularly good at this.

I don't know about the St. Patrick's parking lots, but why would you be driving? It's a stone's throw from campus. And why at 4:30 a.m.?!
