<p>and no im not basing my decision to go there based off that. snowboarding is just a hobby that i cant do often because i live in bloody f'ing texas =)</p>
<p>There is no slopes anywhere around the city. The closest is in Wisconsin, but they are nowhere near anything the size of parks out west, but if you really wanted to snowboard you definitely could but its probably about a 1-2 hour drive depending on which park you'd want to go.</p>
<p>nu does have a snowboard/ski race team if you're interested, also they have a winter ski trip during winter break for the whole school</p>
