so i was supposed to have a college interview today but my interviewer said he didn’t want me to drive in this snow (i live on the east coast) so asked if sunday was a possibility… the idiot inside me said yes… but now that i look at it… i don’t think this snow will melt any time soon… please help…
he originally asked for Saturday but i couldn’t do it so i said can we do some other day ?
then he said sure, let’s do friday but now we canceled that for sunday…
but NOW it seems that sunday may not be an option…
i don’t want it to keep changing… please help me.
Maybe check road conditions Saturday night, and if there is no chance of the roads being clear contact the interviewer. I’m sure they would understand if there is no physical way of getting to the interview.
Considering that there’s a state of emergency declared all up and down the East Coast, I’m having a hard time understanding why you think it’s a problem to reschedule an interview.
Yeah just keep rescheduling until it works! Don’t try and reschedule too much obviously, but I’m sure it’s no big deal and that your interviewer will understand. Find some humor in it! That’s always a good option!
You can ask if he would be open to a Skype/phone interview. I’m sure he will be understanding about having to reschedule.
I feel really bad for anyone who was supposed to take SATs today.
Considering there is now an area state of emergency I think he will be more than happy to reschedule.
I agree with the skype interview suggestion. If you do that, please dress nicely, make sure you have a neutral background in a clean room, and make sure you can have relative silence during the interview time.
