So...about those random classes

Looks like most of the classes that I want to take are all filled up. So, could someone please tell me some random classes that seem like they could be enjoyable?

Chem 107A + B would be my idea of a fun class.

only chem majors take chem for fun :P

ENT1 - "Insects in Art"... totally easy GE class (science or art) that not many people take, only offered fall quarter. I did the ceramics section & we made insect-inspired art out of clay.

Chem majors like math.
Biochem majors hate math.
Both like chem.

=D

Thanks for the advice everyone. Has anyone taken the Linguistics class? Sounds like fun (?)

I do like math... weird.

I took LIN1 with Westfield? Westwood? something like that... Anyway, lectures were boring, I just started counting the number of times the prof would say "um" or "uh". I really don't think a linguistics prof should be saying those filler words over 200 times per 1 hr lecture. But I did get an A- in the class so I can't complain too badly.

LIN1 with Farrell is chill, although he's not teaching it in the fall.

HIS111 series with Spyridakis is good, it's upper div but doesn't have any requirements. It's also geared towards non majors.

some of the upper div CMN classes don't have requirements as well, take them with Hamilton

I honestly would be a chemistry major right now if it weren't for that 1.5-2 year 21/22 series math requirement -_-. Other than that, chem is more enjoyable than bio. =D

ECN 1A (Helms)
ECN 1B (Mogull)

were easy A's for me. But you might wanna stay away from then first (maybe 2nd) quarter to avoid those pre-mang people.

There are atleast 2 other RECENT threads with the same information.
