lol...as the time draws closer...I get that much more anxious to know...

I was completely paranoid today...and I was desperate for any clue/hint at my acceptance/defer/rejection...

Although we know it really doesn't indicate any decision...

Let's just do it for fun...

1) I found a lucky penny on the ground (seriously)

Got a fortune cookie:

"Discontent is the first necessity to progress"

power went out around the entire city... = no internet, major road blocks, etc. (I found a cafe with internet about 10 minutes ago.) In Japan they say when something bad happens, something good is bound to follow :D

I got a few emails and phone calls from the financial aid office, asking about a small supplement that we neglected to turn in... that made me wonder if they would look at fin aid for anyone who wasn't accepted...

I got that too.. for Uchicago that is. They e-mailed me in December about a piece I missed. Maybe they want me! =P

First sunny day in 2 months

school was shut down because of a black out

God helped me

I went to an award ceremony last week to receive my award, but today was the day the article/picture appeared in the newspaper

I don't know if this is a good sign or a bad sign, but on Dec. 14th:

There was a 60 mph windstorm that knocked out my electrical power for around 30 hours. I ended up checking my decision email at my school library. Luckily I got in :)

Hey fastfingers are you from around Seattle? There was a huuugggee windstorm there on the 14th that knocked out the power for at least 30 hours. I had to go to Tully's and check it there. I almost started crying in public when I found out :D
