<li>Someone who was hiding for three years popped up</li>
<li>Someone close to me found out that she doesn't have cancer </li>
<li>The weather has been gorgeous, in DECEMBER (last week it was 30s, this week 50-60)</li>
<li>I saw a cute chickadee in front of my door on the railing </li>
<li>I saw a cat go up the stairs of my deck (I haven't seen a real cat in ages, and I wanted one so bad when I was a kid and I still do)</li>
<li> My phone got stolen, but my mom needed one for a number in VA and she gave it to me </li>
<li>I had a huge bio test today, and my teacher moved it to Tuesday </li>
<li>We had a pep rally today, I had NO idea about it until wednesday and I got to miss the class I hate most</li>

<p>I feel as if the karma gods have smiled upon me.</p>
<p>power went out around the entire city... = no internet, major road blocks, etc. (I found a cafe with internet about 10 minutes ago.) In Japan they say when something bad happens, something good is bound to follow :D</p>
<p>I got a few emails and phone calls from the financial aid office, asking about a small supplement that we neglected to turn in... that made me wonder if they would look at fin aid for anyone who wasn't accepted...</p>
<p>I don't know if this is a good sign or a bad sign, but on Dec. 14th:</p>
<p>There was a 60 mph windstorm that knocked out my electrical power for around 30 hours. I ended up checking my decision email at my school library. Luckily I got in :)</p>
<p>Hey fastfingers are you from around Seattle? There was a huuugggee windstorm there on the 14th that knocked out the power for at least 30 hours. I had to go to Tully's and check it there. I almost started crying in public when I found out :D</p>
