Sort of related. I dont actually know if i submitted mine late. I know the deadline is 11:59 eastern, but i turned it in at like 11:59:15... im at that calm before the storm phase, where im freaking out so bad i dont know how to react. does anyone know if i made the deadline or not?

I read on Common App a few hours ago that they understand if you're in a different time zone. However, thinking back, I thought I read also that it operates completely on EST. Call or contact them somehow and ask whether they could consider it in on time since it still is Nov. 1 where you live.

Haha. Thanks. I hate how everything usually operates on EST. I live on the West Coast so I always have to pay close attention to these things for everrytthingg. The Olympics? So excited that so many sports were going to be live, then I start watching and I realize its live for east coast people and the news spoiled everything for me. everything.

And sorry, I totally posted in the wrong section. Didn't mean to leave a comment on Yale. I just searched for existing threads related to mine but forgot to check which part of the forum they were under.

I submitted mine 1 minute late because i had some error message with the CEEB code and my computer was automatically back on eastern standard time form daylight savings mode.. so my computer said 11:00pm when I submitted it.. but commmonapp said 12:01 AM

I submitted my app on November 1, but it downloaded on November 2, so I panicked and contacted an admissions officer. She said that they are accepting apps until November 4, so an app that downloaded a few hours too late should be fine
