I remember in times past that everyone came here and discussed the tests in specifics, but from what they said, any mention of specifics on the internet could result in a cancellation of your score... I'm hoping to avoid that, so I won't be partaking in any discussion... but I do remember last year a lot of people discussed the tests very explicitly. Has this always been a rule that people have ignored, or a new rule?

it was specifically written on the internet and in the procter lecture that internet discussion of specifics will lead to disqualification from the test.

i dont know if this is new or not but i would rather not jeopardize my status with the ETS and College board.

not that this test being cancelled would necessarily be a bad thing....

i dont know....but one thing to remind you: it should be different from last year instead of different than...

are you sure about that?

i am talking about grammar...

yes, i know lol.

i'm asking you if you're sure that it should be 'different from' and not 'different than'.

Haha. Grammar is my worst section. Essay is my best. Go figure how that works out.

i am 100%sure, since different is not a comparative form
instead it s a idiom

yes it's from, not than
