So... are they still processing stuff?

Hey guys,
Are they still processing recs for Yale RD? Because I've still got a teacher rec missing even though I know it was mailed.
Even so, if the rec is missing, then why does it say under "application status" that:
We have received the admissions documents needed to review your application to Yale. We will notify you if we need any additional information.

Thanks:-)

^ Obviously they're still processing stuff, because tons of CCers don't even have their Eli accounts yet. I don't think you understand, they have MOUNTAINS of paperwork to sort through haha. They have to scan every individual document and make sure it gets connected to the right online application.

This is a slideshow by UVA's dean (and Yale got way more apps than they did):
Notes from Peabody: The UVA Application Process: Pictures from deadline week

Haha, thanks hookem. I guess I was just freaking out because all my other recs were in - but I think those got sent before the onslaught.

Those pictures are quite the sight! And I just called the office and the message said not to worry about anything 'til Feb 7.

So we should wait to resend something, bc my school report is missing.

i actually visited yale on jan 2nd. when i went to talk to the lady at the desk, i looked to my right and saw the room with all the envelopes. there were HEAPS! and they had college kids there during intersession just opening all of them. you should have seen it though. crazy.

Yeah. Wait.
As far as I know, all of these schools will let you know if you're missing a required document and will give you a grace period to fax it over.
