<p>o, yeah, I've been wanting to ask this:</p>
<p>do articles basically go to press as-is, or are they subject to heavy-handed editorial oversight? if it's the latter, and an editor wants to change my piece, will they consult with me first, or just make the revision and send the article to print? I'm cool with getting my pieces proofread, just not with having them edited extensively w/o my approval</p>
<p>*to clarify, I'm not referring to poorly written, grammatically busted articles fairly deserving of revision; I'm talking about a case where, stylistically speaking, my editor doesn't see eye-to-eye w/ me</p>
