So Basically i'm freaking out- Early Action

Absolutely everything is in, except one of my letters or recommendation. My school counselor is being a total nub when it comes to sending things off, since we all have to go through her...(Seems a little too late for snail mail at this point). However, I'm afraid the college won't see it by November 1st. And yes, I'm flipping out, since the said college that needs my letter happens to be my top choice right now. And I almost don't trust that she'll send it off on time. If something is postmarked by a certain day, is that fine? Or if it was at least sent off (By her) by the deadline?

Ahhh please help me on this, cause it might just point out the measures I'll have to take to get everything done on time! (Slight exaggeration, but come on...we are all freaking out right now).

So long as your app is in, if the rec is postmarked by the deadline it’ll be just fine. No worries at all.

relax. No one at admissions gonna delete your file b/c one doc will be trickling in. Make sense?

Ahh, yes, I feel a lot better! Does anyone one know typically how long it takes the mail to get to the office of admissions + be processed? Also, would it hurt to send it both electronically and by mail (In case my school counselor doesn’t send it on time)

Let your counselor handle it. You will not be penalized for something you had no control over.
